Projul currently publishes three annual plans:
- Core — $4,788/year
- Core+ — $7,188/year
- Pro — $14,388/year
Projul uses flat-rate plan pricing rather than ordinary per-user billing and includes unlimited projects from the Core tier. But that does not mean every team can simply choose Core and add unlimited employees.
The practical cost depends on the first plan that supports the company’s actual:
- project workflow;
- financial and job-costing requirements;
- accounting setup;
- field-management needs;
- user access;
- payment processing;
- optional integrations;
- annual commitment.
A better buying equation is:
required project/financial workflow + team access + accounting requirements + processing + optional services + annual subscription commitment = practical Projul cost
The sticker price is straightforward. Choosing the correct tier requires more work.

Projul Pricing at a Glance
| Plan | Annual Price | Current User Access | Main Upgrade Reason |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core | $4,788/year | Current Help Center says up to 10 users | CRM, estimating, scheduling, invoicing, and core project management |
| Core+ | $7,188/year | Verify current employee limit | Job costing, budgeting, change orders, progress billing, Client Portal, time tracking, QBO |
| Pro | $14,388/year | Unlimited users | QBD, purchase orders, daily logs, geofencing, service invoicing, and deeper field/project controls |
Current Pricing lists all three amounts as annual, says there are no ordinary per-user fees, and includes unlimited projects from Core. It also explicitly lists Unlimited Users as a Pro feature.

How Projul Pricing Actually Works
The Current Public Offer Is Annual
Projul’s customer-facing Pricing page currently publishes annual prices and explicitly says it cannot currently offer a monthly billing option.
That means a new buyer should treat the standard public offer as an annual commitment, not take $4,788, divide it by 12, and describe Core as a $399/month subscription.
The same applies to Core+ and Pro. $599/month and $1,199/month are mathematical equivalents of the annual prices, not current advertised monthly plans.
Projul’s Terms still contain generic language for both monthly and annual subscriptions. That can apply to legacy, negotiated, or other account arrangements, but it does not override the current public Pricing page for a standard new purchase.
If Sales offers a different billing structure, get both the term and price in writing.
Flat Rate Does Not Automatically Mean Unlimited Users
This is the most important nuance in current Projul pricing.
The Pricing page says there are no per-user fees.
That is not the same as saying:
every plan supports unlimited employees.
Current Projul Help Center documentation says:
- Core — up to 10 users
- Pro — unlimited users
Current Pricing separately lists Unlimited Users as a Pro feature and says customers adding employees may be prompted when they are about to switch plans.
The exact Core+ employee allowance is not clearly resolved across the higher-priority current sources.
So do not build a team-cost model around an assumed Core+ limit. Ask Projul to confirm the current allowance for the quoted account.
The safe interpretation is:
no ordinary per-seat charge ≠ unlimited access on every tier.
Unlimited Projects Are Included
Current Pricing lists Unlimited Projects on Core, with Core+ and Pro building on that plan.
There is therefore no reason to invent a separate per-project subscription cost when comparing the published tiers.
Projul Plans Explained
Core — $4,788/Year
Core is the starting tier for contractors mainly needing the core operating workflow:
- CRM and sales tools;
- estimates;
- eSignatures;
- scheduling and calendars;
- project management;
- invoicing and payment processing;
- reporting;
- task management;
- mobile access;
- photo/document workflows.
It also includes unlimited projects and the current Premium Support Package.
The main boundary is deeper project financial control.
Core does not currently list major Core+ capabilities such as:
- construction financials;
- job costing and budgeting;
- change orders;
- progress billing;
- Client Portal;
- Gantt/timeline tools;
- QuickBooks Online integration.
Current Help Center documentation also says Core supports up to 10 users, so a growing company should not assume the flat price guarantees unlimited employee access.
For a contractor mainly needing leads, estimates, scheduling, projects, and invoices, Core is the first tier to evaluate.
If estimating is the main requirement, compare lighter options in our handyman estimating software guide.
Core+ — $7,188/Year
Core+ is the major financial and project-management upgrade.
Current Pricing adds:
- unlimited subcontractors;
- Change Orders;
- Client Portal;
- Construction Financials;
- Job Costing & Budgeting;
- Convert Estimates to Tasks;
- Gantt Charts;
- Linear Project Timelines;
- Messaging and Channeled Communications;
- Progress Billing;
- Time Tracking;
- QuickBooks Online integration.
This means a relatively small contractor may require Core+ even before team size becomes the issue.
A five-person remodeler managing long projects, change orders, progress invoices, budgets, and QuickBooks Online may have a stronger Core+ requirement than a larger company with a simpler workflow.
The unresolved point is employee access.
Home Service Fit would not publish an exact Core+ user limit without direct current confirmation from Projul.
If team size matters to the purchase, get the employee allowance stated in the quote or other written account documentation.
Pro — $14,388/Year
Pro is the advanced field/project tier.
Current Pro-only additions include:
- Unlimited Users
- Assemblies
- Automated Client Reminders
- Daily Logs
- Field Takeoffs
- Geolocation and Geofencing
- Photo Reports
- Projul AI Connect/API integrations
- Purchase Orders
- QuickBooks Desktop
- Schedule Conflicts
- Selections
- Service Invoicing
- Spanish app translation.
That makes Pro relevant when the business genuinely requires a Pro-specific operational capability or confirmed unlimited employee access.
A company using QuickBooks Desktop, for example, has a different upgrade trigger from one using QBO.
Likewise, field teams needing purchase orders, daily logs, geofencing, or service invoicing may reach Pro because of workflow rather than headcount.
The useful question is:
Does this business need a Pro-only workflow or user configuration?
Not simply:
Does Pro contain more features?
If invoicing is the main operational need, see our handyman invoicing software guide.

What Is Included in the Annual Price?
Current Projul Pricing says its Premium Support Package is included with annual plans.
It currently covers services such as:
- personalized workflow analysis;
- system customization;
- customized training;
- data-import assistance;
- support by phone, email, or video.
Projul displays a crossed-out $4,500 beside that package.
That number should be treated carefully.
It is a vendor marketing reference value, not proof that every customer would otherwise have been required to pay a separate $4,500 onboarding bill.
So the defensible statement is:
Projul currently includes its Premium Support Package with annual plans.
Not:
Every customer saves $4,500.

That distinction matters because the annual starting commitment is already substantial, especially for a smaller contractor.
Veterans Discount
Projul currently advertises a 5% discount for eligible veterans.
The company says customers should mention their eligibility during the product demo. Projul then verifies eligibility and applies the 5% discount to the annual plan before invoicing.
Because this directly changes the purchase price, eligible buyers should raise it before the annual invoice is issued rather than assuming the discount will be applied automatically.
Costs Beyond the Projul Subscription
Payment Processing
Accepting payments through Projul can create transaction costs on top of the annual software subscription.
Current Projul Terms publish the following US JustiFi fees:
- Credit card — 3.49%
- ACH — 1%
- minimum $1.99
- maximum $30
- Chargeback — $15
- ACH return — $15
- Abandoned-account research fee — $25, where applicable.
The Terms also say payment-processor fees are non-refundable.
Projul allows payment-processing costs to be configured so they may be covered by the business or, where appropriate, passed on to a customer.
That does not mean every contractor should automatically surcharge clients. Rules vary by payment method and jurisdiction, so businesses should verify the applicable requirements for their setup.
For pricing purposes, the important point is simpler:
$4,788 / $7,188 / $14,388 is the software subscription—not necessarily the full cost of collecting payments through the platform.
1build Cost Data
Projul integrates with 1build for construction cost data.
However, current Terms explicitly state that this integration:
- is not a default Projul feature;
- requires an additional subscription;
- must be purchased separately through Projul.
The current governing source does not provide one universal public price for that add-on.
Do not assume the existence of a 1build integration means live cost data is included in the annual Projul subscription.
If that data is important to estimating, ask for the current add-on price before calculating total cost.
Taxes and Third-Party Tools
Current Terms state Projul fees exclude applicable taxes and duties, apart from taxes Projul may itself be required to collect and remit.
It is also useful to separate:
the availability of an integration
from:
the cost of the third-party service connected to it.
A connector may be available inside Projul while the external software, service, or higher usage tier still has its own subscription.
Keep those external costs separate when comparing platforms.
Annual Billing, Renewal & Cancellation Rules
Current Public Billing Is Annual
For standard new purchases, the current Pricing page is clear: Projul says it cannot currently offer a monthly option.
The Terms still contain generic month-to-month language, but that does not establish a standard current monthly offer for a new buyer.
If a salesperson offers a different arrangement, document:
- exact subscription term;
- payment frequency;
- total price;
- renewal structure.
Cancellation Requires the Projul Cancellation Form
A phone call or email starts the process but does not, by itself, complete cancellation.
Current Terms say customers can contact support by email or phone, but the cancellation request becomes final only after the required Projul cancellation form is submitted.
They explicitly state that email and verbal requests will not be processed until that form is completed.
This makes the cancellation procedure worth putting on the calendar before renewal rather than assuming one message is sufficient.
Annual Early-Cancellation Refunds Are Conditional
Current Terms contain a relatively specific rule for new annual subscriptions.
An early-cancellation refund may be available during the first year.
If Projul approves it, the refund is:
- prorated;
- reduced by a non-refundable amount covering services such as system setup, data import, workflow analysis, onboarding, training, support, and related expenses.
That is not a guaranteed pro-rata cancellation policy.
The correct expectation is:
a first-year annual refund may be available if approved.
If a refund is issued, current Terms say access terminates immediately. If no refund is issued, access generally continues through the current paid period.
Renewal and Future Price Changes
Current Terms say annual subscriptions automatically renew unless properly cancelled.
They also state:
- pricing is fixed during the current subscription;
- Projul can change pricing or introduce charges with at least 15 days’ notice;
- for an annual customer, a change made during the current annual period takes effect in a subsequent annual period.
So the annual price is not a permanent grandfathered rate.
It is more accurate to say:
the rate is fixed for the current subscription term.

Does Projul Offer a Free Trial?
Projul’s current public acquisition flow promotes a free personalized demo, including “no credit card needed” messaging.
It does not currently present a clearly defined public self-serve trial with a standard duration on the main Pricing flow.
The Terms contain generic provisions describing what happens if a trial is offered or elected, but those provisions do not establish a current public 14-day trial.
Therefore, do not treat:
free demo
and:
self-serve free trial
as interchangeable.
If Sales currently offers trial access after a demo, verify its duration, feature access, cancellation rules, and whether payment information is required for that specific offer.
Which Projul Plan Makes Sense for a Small Contractor?
Choose the lowest verified plan that supports the actual workflow—not the tier with the longest feature list.
Core
Evaluate Core when the business mainly needs:
- lead/CRM management;
- estimating;
- scheduling;
- basic project management;
- invoicing;
- payments.
Its $4,788 annual commitment deserves particular scrutiny for a solo or very small service business that might use only estimates, invoices, and basic scheduling.
For broader options across small home-service teams, see our handyman software guide.
Core+
Evaluate Core+ when the business needs:
- job costing;
- budgets/project financials;
- change orders;
- progress billing;
- Client Portal;
- time tracking;
- Gantt/project timelines;
- QuickBooks Online.
For multi-stage contracting work, these may justify the jump even with a relatively small team.
Pro
Evaluate Pro when the business needs:
- confirmed unlimited users;
- QuickBooks Desktop;
- purchase orders;
- daily logs;
- geofencing/geolocation;
- service invoicing;
- deeper field controls.
Do not assume Pro is automatically a better value merely because more features are included.
And do not assume Core+ team economics until its current employee allowance is confirmed.
Is Projul Worth the Price?
Projul’s flat annual model can make more sense when several employees need access and the business actually uses deeper construction-management workflows.
Its value case becomes more relevant where:
- several team members need software;
- multi-stage projects are common;
- job costing and budgets matter;
- change orders and progress billing are routine;
- consolidating several operational systems would genuinely simplify work.
The economics are less obvious when:
- one or two people need access;
- jobs are operationally simple;
- the business mainly needs estimates, invoices, and basic scheduling;
- most Core+ or Pro functionality would sit unused.
There is no responsible universal break-even team size.
The unresolved Core+ user allowance makes such a calculation even less defensible.
Evaluate Projul at the lowest verified tier that supports the real workflow and team, then add processing, optional integrations, taxes, and the financial effect of an annual commitment.
FAQs
How Much Does Projul Cost?
Current public annual pricing is:
- Core — $4,788/year
- Core+ — $7,188/year
- Pro — $14,388/year
Does Projul Charge Per User?
Projul currently markets its plans as having no ordinary per-user fees.
However, that does not mean unlimited access on every tier. Current Help Center documentation says Core supports up to 10 users, while Pro supports unlimited users. The current Core+ allowance should be verified before purchase.
Does Projul Offer Monthly Billing?
Current Pricing says no for the standard public offer.
The Terms still include generic month-to-month provisions, which may apply to legacy or separately negotiated arrangements. A new customer should not assume monthly purchasing is available unless Projul confirms it in writing.
Does Projul Have a Free Trial?
The current public offer promotes a free demo with no credit card needed, not a clearly defined self-serve trial with a published duration.
Does Projul Charge for Onboarding?
Current annual Pricing says the Premium Support Package—including workflow analysis, system customization, training, data-import help, and ongoing support—is included with annual plans.
The displayed $4,500 figure is a vendor reference value, not a mandatory onboarding fee every customer otherwise pays.
